Hello,
Question? What does the Forensics department think of CTI Varsity, the campus in Midrand?
My daughter who will be 18 by the end of this year is wanting to go into Forensics, and has applied at the Tuks and Wits University as well as UJ and various other varisities. CTI is just a backup plan, should she not get in? CTI offers a three year bio medicine degree which enables my daughter to go into forensics. My question, would you people employ a person from CTI VARSITY and would their degree be recognised like any other University in South Africa. CTI Varsity is registered with the The South African Board of Education and is accredited should the pupil decide to go overseas.
Your knowledge and advice on the above will be much appreciated.
Kind regards

Hi, I have a totally different question to ask? My daughter has applied at all the varsities and awaiting for feedback to see if she will be accepted. Well on Saturday we went to the open day at CTI Varsity College in Bedfordview and with the marks my daughter has, she will defintiely get in. She will be taking a three year bio-medicine degree and after three years go over to foresics. From what i gather she want’s to work in the labs. By attending CTI VARISITY at the Midrand Campus, my question to you is, Will my daughters degree overall be recognised by yourselves, her intentions are doing the 3 year degree and the next step is to go over to Wits and study for Forensics should she not get in at Wits for 2016. Although the CTI Varsity is registered with the Education Board of South Africa, and accredited for overseas, at this stage i am investigating them and looking at all avenues to get more info on them. Theirs cost per year are extremely expensive, averaging from R82,000,00 p er year.
Your advice on the above will be much appreciated.
Kind regards
