Please take not of the following General Application Information from SAPS, if you intend to apply for one of the positions advertised:
Only the official application form (available on the SAPS website and at SAPS Recruitment Offices) will be accepted. The Z83 previously utilised will no longer be accepted.
All instructions on the application form must be adhered to and previous criminal convictions must be declared.
Failure to do so will result in the rejection of the application
The application must be accompanied by certified copies of tertiary quahfications, academic record, Senior Certificate/Grade 12 Certificate, ID document, driver’s licence (where applicable) as well as a detailed CY.
No application will be accepted without these documents’ The post particulars and reference number of the post must be correctly specified on the application form
The residential address and qualifications of applicants will be verified and reference checking will be conducted on all shortlisted applicants
Short-listed candidates for appointment to certain identified posts will be vetted in terms of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendmem Act, 2007 (Act No 32 of 2007) and the Children’s Act, 2005 (Act No 38 of 2005)
Acandidate whose particulars appear in either the National Register for Sex Offenders or Part Bof the Child Protection Register will be disqualified from appointment to that post
If a candidate is short-listed, it can be expected of him/her to undergo a personal interview

I applied for a post at scientific analysis and I was called for an interview last year in december, about three weeks back I was then called to come submit two sets of fingerprints and they said they will get back to me and I haven’t got any response since then. What I want to know is, are the fingerprints done by the people who got the job or everyone who was shortlisted?

I applied and they responded within 4 weeks and sent a certificate of acceptance but it has been 3 weeks since they called me when i try to make a follow up no response am confused now because it is taking too long,pls help me.
I was short listed and went for interview on the 06 of December 2012 and never receive any correspondence till today. So my simply question will be is the selection processes for successfully candidates for all last year post completed?

Don’t worry my brother applied for the very same positions in 2009,went for interviews and he was only hired/called in 2010 March..so don’t loose hope,they will call you.

Unfortunately not. You will need to contact the FSL directly.
Good day, this was unfortunately not the only place the jobs were advertise, it also appeared in once the star workplace I can’t remember the date as well as on the iol website, you just have to check into those resources at least once a week.
Very dissapointed, the vacancies closed on the 05 october 2012 and this is the only place online that i found it – it was not advertised on SAPS website!
How are we supposed to apply for vacancies if we dont know they being advertised!
