CE Tools that Improve Efficiency and Save Time

Finding the Right Tool for the Job: CE Tools that Improve Efficiency and Save Time

July 16th, 2020 • 8 a.m. PDT, 11 a.m. EDT

This webinar presents in-depth evaluations of CE analysis tools designed to minimize hands-on time and routine data review, thus freeing up time to focus on more complex sample analysis. Jaime Brachold (Thermo Fisher Scientific) will present a benchmarking study across different STR kits on the Applied Biosystems 3500 and SeqStudio Genetic Analyzers, which has shown the ability to reduce pull-up by at least 3-9 times and save up to 66% in profile editing time.

Robert O’Brien (NFSTC@FIU) will also share a comparison of the SeqStudio Genetic Analyzer and the RapidHIT ID System for different use cases and sample types.

In this webinar you’ll learn:

• How to streamline sample analysis by reducing pull-up artifacts

• Utility of the SeqStudio Genetic Analzyer and RapidHIT ID System for specific scenarios and sample types
